Lower Level Libary Tours

In 2003 the Seward community’s support and generosity made “Writing the Next Chapter” materialize into a beautiful new library facility. As the library’s 100th anniversary of opening the historic Carnegie Building approaches and we remember the first Reading Room in Seward 125 years ago, it is time for “Finishing the Book.” This project involves the Lower Level Expansion and renovation on the main floor. On Sunday, December 2 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. the lower level will be open to the public for tours. If you are curious about what is located below the main floor of the library and what could be there in the future, take advantage of this special opportunity.
