Road Construction Crew Member

Seward County Roads Department is accepting applications for the position of a Road Construction Crew Member!
 

The Road Construction Crew is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to ensure roadways are accessible, safe, and in good operating condition.  Performs skilled and semi-skilled duties associated with the construction and repair of county roads and rights-of-way.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 19 years of age
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)-Class A at hire or within 6 months of start date.
• Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Starting wage: $25.00 or more per hour, depending on experience.
