Heavy Equipment Operator
Seward County Roads Department is accepting applications for the position of a Heavy Equipment Operator!
** If hired, you can receive a hiring bonus up to $2,000 within the first year of employment! **
This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties associated with the operation of road construction equipment and the repair, maintenance, and construction of County roads, bridges, culverts, and right-of-ways.
Applicants must be 19 years of age or older, be able to legally perform work in the U.S., have a high school diploma or GED, valid CDL- Class A with no restrictions, a valid Driver’s License, and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Experience in general operation of construction and maintenance equipment preferred.
- Starting wage: $19.19 or more per hour, depending on experience.
