Description
Volunteering is a great way to help make a difference in your community and hospice volunteers are an essential part of hospice care. Tabitha Health Care Services will offer training for prospective hospice volunteers. Participants must complete the two-day workshop to serve as a hospice volunteer. This training is free and open to the public. Many hospice clients and their families have benefited from a volunteer's friendship and support. Volunteers also provide respite care, shopping, light housekeeping, transportation and help with daily tasks. Space is limited.
