On April 4th, our 9th - 11th graders will spend the morning with ACT and PreACT Required Testing. We hope hosting an afternoon of College and Career Access Day events with employment opportunities will better utilize the afternoon hours for their career and employment connections. From 1:00 - 2:30 PM, our 9th - 11th graders will rotate through career sessions. One session will include the MHS Job Fair. Other sessions will be small group career presenters and demonstrations, which other coordinators are heading up. While our seniors will not be in school this day, they are invited to return for the afternoon to explore the MHS Job Fair as well.
The MHS Job Fair will be hosted in our MHS South Gym, entering through the Main Office doors. Business personnel may arrive and set up starting at 12:30 PM. IF you are not currently hiring, but would like to promote your business or career field as possible options for our students to consider after graduating, I will gladly start a list of those individuals as well. I think we should have space to provide options for both Job Opening businesses and Career Field businesses. If you are interested in hosting a booth, please contact Rose Kenney (rose.kenney@milfordps.org). Please leave your business name, contact name, contact email, comment if you have summer / yearlong Job Opportunities or prefer a Career Field promotion table at this time.
Thank you for helping our MHS students to ‘Make their story worth telling!’ It should be a great afternoon. Please email rose.kenney@milfordps.org or call 402-761-2525 with any questions! Thanks for supporting all things Milford Public Schools!
