Learn to Play Disc Golf. Meet at the disc golf course in Plum Creek Park. The Kiwanis Club designed and installed an 18-hole disc golf course at the Plum Creek Sports complex just southeast of the soccer fields. The Parks and Recreation Department purchased drawstring bags with various throwing discs inside. Seward Memorial Library has several disc bags available for check-out as part of the Fit4Seward program. On Saturday, September 6 at 9:00 am anyone interested in playing a game is invited to a one hour introduction to this sport. Meet at the Plum Creek Trailhead. After your instructions, schedule a golf outing with friends or family in the near future. Don't forget to get your Fit4Seward tracking sheet marked after you golf event.
